ENT Department was found in 1950s, They have a solid professional basis and not only responsible for teaching mission of both basic and clinical subjects of Yangzhou University but also commit diseases consultation of Yangzhou City and surrounding areas. In this department there are 2 chief physicians, 6 deputy chief physicians, 4 physicians and 3 residents, including 2 Doctors, 2 Master's Tutors and 3 masters. There are 49 beds in this department. Bing Guan:associate professor/MD/Ph.D, was born in 1968. Presently, Prof. Guan is the Vice Director, Department of Otolaryngology in Subei Peoples Hospital. She was graduated from Jilin University, and supervised by Prof. Dongzhen and Prof. Yanzhang Quan, the most famous Otolaryngology experts in China. She has been pursuing the clinical work in Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery for 17 years. She also was engaged in the advanced study in Korea in the field of surgical skill and clinical method, especially in nose and face plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery and tympanoplasty. Prof. Guan collected years of experiences in diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered disease and frequently-occurring disease in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery field. Also, she accumulated rich clinical experiences in pharyngeal and laryngeal diseases, nasal allergic disease, nose and eye correlated surgery, nose and skull correlated surgery. Prof. Guan had published 16 articles in national magazines, as co-writer in 2 professional books. She achieved 3 awards for Advance of Science and Technology. Meanwhile, she is holding the titles as the post of Academician of Jiangsu Province West and Traditional Medicine Society, Jiangsu Province Disability Rehabilitation Society commissioner of Yangzhou City Otolaryngology Committee and Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology.
